Today we have a special surprise:

13 years ago, Former Comm. Tim Boyd and Jeannette sent a request to DNR to make our riverbank a free fishing area for all. We were denied. DNR only gives out a waiver to one area in the entire state each year.

As the years went by the Town continued to apply and we were denied each time. This year when we applied we are happy to say we were approved!!! As of today anyone of any age can fish without a permit in our Curtis Harvey Memorial Park area. We are happy to be able to offer families an oppurtunity to have a place they can enjoy the outdoors and bond together for FREE!!

Thank you to  DNR for allowing us to offer this to the families in our area.
